Monday through Friday, 9-5, Whats that??

So Jerry started his new position this week and he is working Monday through Friday from 8-4. For anyone who knows us knows that we have never had a normal work life and this is HUGE for us. He has worked 3-11 or 2-10 or 5pm-1am since Madison was born and she is 7. So for Daddy to home at night is a big change for us. So last night Jerry got home and we all ate dinner together, then went for a walk. We even took Jasmine and let her go swimming in the lake. Then we got home and rinsed Jasmine off and then everyone wanted to roller skate. So they roller skated and then went inside for bath and bedtime. It was such a gorgeous day yesterday. I can't believe that I am at a point where I can say this, but I am so thankful for the job change. This is so nice for our family and more than that I feel that Jerry is so much safer. Never forget in a bad situation to remain faithful because God has better plans for you and I know now this was God's plan for us.

As you get older, you do begin to see that things usually happen for a reason and usually turn out for the best. With two of the girls in school now, Jerry would not have gotten to see much of them with his old hours. I'm glad you have turned that corner.

Wow, Shannon this is just awesome. I am so glad you guys are able to have a regular schedule now and can do more things with his new schedule. That is a blessing.

You are BAD at making me CRY during your dadgum posts!!! That is GREAT and wonderful! SEE, if he had stayed where he was, then you would not have this wonderful family time from now on... until God thinks plans need to change again!!!! :)
